We have video and other media that you can play in the classroom or post in your Brightspace course. Learn more about the different streaming video platforms we offer:

Creating a Playlist

Films on Demands gives you the opportunity to create a playlist from different videos and/or video segments. Follow the steps below.

  1. Select "Add to" under the video. 
  2. You will need to create a personal Films on Demand account to build a playlist. Sign in or create your account. 
  3. Once you are logged in, select "Playlist" and then you can choose to add the full title or segments. You may need to create a new playlist or select an existing playlist. 
  4. To find your completed playlists, click on the profile image at the top right and then choose "My Content." 

 

Copy or Embed direct link

  1. Go to the Database A-Z list and locate Films on Demand
  2. Open a specific segment of a title
  3. Click on title or segment you would like to link to
  4. Select share button under the video
  5. Select the Embed/Link tab
  6. Copy the title or segment link provided by clicking the copy button
  7. Paste the link where you wish to share

  1. Choose a category
  2. Click on the "more info" link provided on each video
  3. Choose EMBED on the top right corner
  4. Select and copy either "video URL" or "Embed code"

Copy or Embed direct linkHow to link Video picture

  1. Open a specific course or segment
  2. Click on share arrow - upper right corner of video
  3. Select the link and choose to share the course link or current video
  4. You also can share through Teams, Email, Facebook or Twitter

Quick Tips

  • Use different methods to find interesting courses. You can browse the course library; search for courses on specific subjects, skills, or software; or check out courses that have been recommended for you.

  • Find your content in the course navigation bar at the top of the screen. This is where you’ll find your saved and in-progress courses. By clicking on your profile picture, you can also find your learning history and collections.

  • You can personalize how you view courses. The player has features such as adjustable playback speed, transcripts, full-screen viewing, volume control, and closed captions.

  • Build on your skills with Learning Paths. Learning Paths are a sequence of courses that cover a topic in-depth. They can help you determine what courses would help you in a certain career, e.g. digital marketing.

  • Use exercise files for hands-on learning. Many courses include exercise files that you can use to follow along with the course and apply what is being demonstrated.

  • Check your progress with quizzes. Many LinkedIn Learning courses include quizzes that test how well you learned the material and reinforce what you learned.

  • Share your success on LinkedIn. If you connected your Learning account to your personal LinkedIn account, you can add a certificate of completion to your LinkedIn profile, along with the skills associated with that course.
